Interior Health seeks an experienced Relational Security Officer for a part time term assignment in Kelowna. Under the Supervisor, Relational Security, you will enforce security procedures, respond to emergencies, and support a secure, orderly workplace. The position requires communication, organization, and related equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Patrol buildings and grounds using surveillance and video monitoring systems
- Identify hazards, secure entrances, and enforce security procedures
- Respond to fires, aggressive patients, and other emergencies




- Investigate disturbances using non-violent interventions and document incidents
- Provide escorts, access control, and staff and patient security

Requirements:

- Current BC Security Guard License with applicable handcuff endorsement
- One year recent related experience or equivalent preparation
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
- Physical ability to carry out position duties
- Ability to operate related equipment and organize work
