Reporting to the Foreman, the Highway Maintenance Worker Operator helps maintain roadway functionality and safety. The work includes signage, traffic management, equipment care, facility upkeep, and documentation. Operators may respond to weather events, accidents, and wildlife hazards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain highways and support roadway safety
- Install signage and manage traffic in work zones
- Respond to weather events, accidents, and wildlife hazards
- Inspect, service, and secure equipment, vehicles, and facilities
- Complete logs, reports, and safety records

Requirements:

- Valid Class 3 or Class 1 licence with air brakes
- Driver's Abstract with no more than six demerits
- No major infractions on the Driver's Abstract
- Experience operating light, medium, or heavy equipment preferred
- Availability for on-call and night shifts when needed
