This Engine Field Service Technician performs basic maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on Cummins engine products. The work includes service-shop and field assignments, diagnostic tools, after-treatment systems, external diesel-engine components, and service documentation. Direct supervision and workmanship review support development in the role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Repair engine products in service shops and field locations
- Perform maintenance and repairs using diagnostic tools
- Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
- Follow Cummins Health, Safety and Environmental policies




- Maintain tools, service truck, and driver qualification

Requirements:

- Journeyman or 310T Certification required
- Basic diesel-engine repair and external-component experience
- Some engine diagnostic software knowledge
- Rudimentary after-treatment system component understanding
- Willingness to travel away from home up to one week
