Roles & responsibilities:

- Will be working as Azure Data Architect and engineer
- Should attend daily stand ups/ scrum calls/ quarterly PI
- Work with BSA and product team to understand project requirements.
- Create technical specification and source-to-target design mapping documents
- Write or understand Java/Pyspark code written on Databricks platform, perform unit testing and work with QA & Business testers for defect resolution
- Work with admins on code deployments
- Should coordinate and lead the offshore developers

Qualifications:

- Experience in Azure Databricks is mandatory
- Expertise and knowledge of Medallion Architecture is required
- Should possess good understanding of Delta tables, Synapse and data partitioning on azure cloud

Total compensation

We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between$80000–$140000per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical,mentaland financial wellbeing
