As a Staff Developer on the Platform Team, you will build and operate infrastructure for Tempo Timesheets, Capacity Planner, and Financial Manager for Jira Cloud. Your work includes DynamoDB, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Redis, monitoring, observability, and operational excellence. You will make architectural decisions and lead initiatives across teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop infrastructure libraries for messaging, caching, and persistence

Operate core platform services and Jira Cloud integration

Ensure platform reliability, performance, and security through observability





Lead technical initiatives spanning multiple teams and services

Write maintainable code with comprehensive test coverage

Requirements

Eight-plus years developing server-side software

Platform infrastructure experience at scale

Solid Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration experience

Extensive AWS experience including DynamoDB, Lambda, and S3

Database skills across SQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB
