They are looking for a Senior Manager who will be responsible for reviewing assurance and accounting engagements, managing client relationships, mentoring staff, attending client meetings, and helping oversee a growing portfolio of mid-market private company clients. This person must have the technical expertise, leadership skills, and client presence to assume approximately 40-50% of Hamad's current responsibilities and become a key contributor to the firm's future growth.

About the Opportunity

- Lead assurance and advisory engagements for a portfolio of privately held companies, professionals, non-profit organizations, and small public companies
- Perform second partner-level reviews of assurance and compilation engagements
- Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts
- Provide accounting, tax, operational, and business advisory guidance to clients
- Mentor managers, senior accountants, and junior staff
- Assist in practice management, scheduling, and workflow oversight
- Participate in strategic planning and growth initiatives within the practice
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and firm quality-control requirements
- Support partners with complex engagements and gradually assume significant client responsibility

About You

- CPA designation required




- 10+ years of experience in Canadian public accounting
- Ideally 2-3+ years operating at the Senior Manager level

Salary Range

$140,000 - $175,000/year
