Mental health nursing and substance use care define this permanent full time position at Invermere District Hospital in Invermere, BC. Rotating day and night shifts are scheduled. Interior Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse for its MHSU team. The nurse provides assessment, treatment, case management, and community support. Work includes urgent outreach, responsive care, GP shared care, education, and support for acute or chronic mental illness and problematic substance use.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide urgent outreach and responsive assessment
- Deliver treatment and clinical supports across available services
- Provide case management and community support
- Use specialized treatment modalities with clients and families
- Work within an integrated multidisciplinary care team

Requirements:
- Graduate from an approved school of nursing
- Two years recent mental health and substance use experience
- Current practicing registration with BCCNM
- Current valid British Columbia driver’s license Support individuals and families through mental health assessment, substance use treatment, case management, and urgent community response.
