Lead operational risk and controls across Insurance Operations and Distributor Services in a hybrid Waterloo position with Manulife. Apply analytical leadership and insurance process expertise. As Operational Risk and Controls Lead, you will partner with operational leaders and risk partners to strengthen controls. The role covers insurance servicing, policy administration, claims, distributor operations, and customer service processes. You will support regulatory readiness, audit activities, remediation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and manage risks across Insurance Operations and Distributor Services
- Support RCSAs for parent business processes with Line 1b
- Coordinate audit evidence, responses, and corrective action plans




- Evaluate key controls and recommend control environment improvements
- Analyze metrics, incidents, trends, and root causes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk management, or related discipline
- Five to seven years in insurance or financial services
- Knowledge of insurance servicing, claims, and distributor operations
- Experience supporting audits, regulatory reviews, and issue remediation
