Assess stability and control characteristics of aircraft

Analyze and process simulation and flight test data

Plan and conduct desktop or pilot-in-the-loop simulations to assess the aircraft handling qualities due to design and/or model changes, for certification, or problem investigations with potential improvements

Provide support to aircraft production and in-flight qualification for aerodynamics and aircraft handling related issues and non-conformities

Define high level aircraft design requirements (handling qualities, sensors, actuators etc.)

You hold a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in Aerospace Engineering





You must have a minimum of 12 years of pertinent experience in the field of aircraft stability and control The candidate has a good understanding of aircraft flight dynamics and aerodynamics along with a basic understanding of aeroelasticity, aircraft design, aircraft structures/systems The candidate familiar with airworthiness regulations is an asset The candidate possesses positive programming skills.

Knowledge of Windows and UNIX operating system environments, Matlab/Simulink, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint is an asset.
