Shape immersive RPG storytelling from home, in-office, or remotely across British Columbia and Alberta through world-building and character-driven writing. Arcanaut Studios seeks a Senior Writer to craft primary narrative pillars for an immersive RPG. You will develop branching dialogue, complex character arcs, and deep world lore. Collaboration with designers, audio, performance, art, cinematics, and other writers ensures player agency and cohesive storytelling.

Key Responsibilities
- Write character-specific dialogue for quests and ambient lines
- Create branching paths and meaningful player choices
- Develop story bibles, character histories, cultures, and political structures
- Review writers’ work for consistent voices and tone




- Coordinate narrative goals with art and cinematics

Requirements:
- Five or more years writing professionally in games
- At least one shipped AAA title, preferably an RPG
- Understanding of nonlinear storytelling and interactive dialogue systems
- Excellence in dramatic writing and naturalistic dialogue
- Proficiency with narrative tools and basic Unreal Engine knowledge Bring RPG narrative leadership, branching dialogue, and distinctive character voices to Arcanaut Studios’ immersive game universe.
