Lead regulatory financial reporting at Sun Life, applying IFRS, CIRO rules, and strong controls within a hybrid work model. Support subsidiaries serving Canadian investment clients. Reporting to the Director, Regulatory and Subsidiary Reporting, you will manage financial reporting for SLFISI, SLCSI, and SLFDI. The role covers accounting close, reconciliations, analytics, regulatory filings, statutory statements, audits, and governance. You will collaborate across business areas while supporting process updates, automation, and regulatory change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly and quarterly accounting close, reconciliations, reporting, and analytics
- Complete monthly CIRO regulatory filings for SLFISI and SLCSI
- Prepare IFRS and CIRO statutory financial statements and disclosures




- Coordinate audit deliverables, samples, and stakeholder responses
- Coach one direct report and one CPA student

Requirements:
- CPA designation with five-plus years of related industry experience
- Working knowledge of IFRS and CIRO regulatory rules
- Robust Microsoft Office, SAP, SharePoint, and Tableau skills
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and analytical abilities
