Support program excellence at Athabasca University in Alberta with program coordination, student engagement, and strategic planning expertise. This permanent full time position is hybrid. The Program Officer serves the Faculty of Science and Technology under the Senior Associate Dean, Student Experience. The position manages faculty programs and initiatives while advising academic leaders on program development, marketing, technical barriers, quality assurance, and decision-making. It also strengthens engagement from pre-enrollment through post-graduation.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage programs and initiatives within the faculty portfolio
- Coordinate program reviews, development, and regulation changes
- Advise leaders on program processes and quality assurance




- Develop recruitment and marketing plans for FST programs
- Consult on sensitive student issues confidentially

Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in education or administration preferred
- At least three years of progressive administration experience
- Program coordination and project coordination experience required
- Student engagement experience with competing priorities required
