Shape Google Cloud Platform solutions with Cloud Run, Vertex AI, and Shared VPC expertise. This remote contract is open to candidates currently located in Canada. The architect will design production systems migrating from Azure or AWS to GCP. Robust knowledge of Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Memorystore, IAM, Secret Manager, monitoring, and load balancing is required. You will guide infrastructure engineering and explain technical risk to business and technical audiences. Key Responsibilities:

Design GCP architectures for production migration programs Evaluate core GCP services and Azure replacements Guide infrastructure engineering using Terraform and CI/CD Explain architecture trade-offs during phase-gate reviews Evaluate future agent architecture with Google ADK Requirements:

Eight-plus years of cloud architecture experience At least three years in GCP architect leadership Production migration experience from Azure or AWS Working knowledge of Terraform and Harness or equivalent Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification preferred Bring GCP architecture, migration planning, and communication skills to this remote contract serving candidates in Canada.
