Lead nutrition and food service operations at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, supervising meal delivery and secure, efficient assigned work areas. This is a permanent part-time position.

Reporting to the Manager of Nutrition and Food Services, you will oversee front-line employees, daily operations, and meal service. You will support patient safety through food safety quality assurance, task coordination, and continuous improvement. The position also provides leadership across remote sites.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise employees across assigned nutrition and food service areas
- Coordinate day-to-day operations, meal service, and delivery
- Support safe, efficient operations and patient safety
- Provide leadership and resources to employees and remote sites




- Assist administrative and operational functions within designated areas

Requirements:

- Nutrition degree or recognized Food and Nutrition Management course
- Advanced Food Safety Certification and HACCP Training
- Minimum two years’ relevant leadership or operations experience preferred
- Leadership, coaching, judgement, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Valid Nova Scotia driver’s license and reliable vehicle
