Operate distributed energy resources and battery systems from Rodan Energy’s Realtime Operations Centre in Mississauga, using SCADA during rotating shifts. Support real-time grid operations.

This Operator role manages DERs, BESS, and generation assets across IESO, PJM, MISO, NYISO, and AESO markets. You will monitor telemetry, respond to abnormal conditions, coordinate dispatch activity, and communicate with clients. The position supports compliance, asset readiness, and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute real-time asset dispatch through SCADA and market instructions
- Monitor telemetry, alarms, and asset status continuously
- Coordinate curtailments, activations, and restorations within ISO windows




- Maintain shift logs and conduct structured handovers
- Communicate operational events and restoration timelines to clients

Requirements:

- Understand power systems, electricity grids, and energy markets
- Use Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power BI proficiently
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally
- Maintain accuracy under pressure and strong attention to detail
- Work 12-hour rotating shifts, including holidays
