As a Senior ML Training Optimization Engineer, you will support research and production training systems at Waabi. The work combines deep learning frameworks, runtime profiling, memory analysis, and resource optimization. You will collaborate with researchers and ML engineers while improving tools for broad adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build standardized distributed training frameworks for research and production
- Profile model runtime and memory to identify bottlenecks
- Evaluate CUDA kernels, quantization, and deployment techniques
- Develop training and inference framework improvements
- Create tooling and dashboards supporting broad adoption

Requirements:

- MS, PhD, or bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field
- At least four years of industry experience with a bachelor’s degree
- Proficiency in Python, C++, or Rust
- Experience with PyTorch or Jax
- CPU and GPU profiling experience using stated tools
