About Our Client

Our client is seeking a Part Time Interim CFO for a 3-month chance, working approximately 20-30 hours per week.

About the Opportunity

- Lead consolidated financial reporting across multiple operating companies, including monthly reporting for the PE Company and the lender.
- Establish weekly liquidity reporting.
- Work with controllers and project managers to improve work-in-progress and percentage-of-completion accounting, laying the groundwork for accurate monthly true-ups.
- Assess existing documentation, controls, and close processes with the current third-party accounting resource to begin bringing CFO responsibilities in-house.
- Document progress, outstanding issues, and recommendations for the incoming permanent CFO.

About You

- Senior finance leadership experience, ideally as a CFO in a mid-sized, multi-entity business.
- The ability to work hands-on with operating-company teams while building more consistent processes.
- Experience with project-based accounting, WIP, or percentage-of-completion accounting is highly preferred but not required for the interim role.




- A CPA or CFA designation is preferred, not required.
- Travel to work off site is required during month end close

You must currently reside within the Chatham area and be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this opportunity.
