Support psychiatric patients and families as a Social Worker II in Grande Prairie Regional Hospital’s Unit 11 inpatient psychiatry program. Apply clinical social work skills within an interdisciplinary team.

This regular full time position serves general, adolescent, and geriatric psychiatry, including psychiatric ICU services. You will provide psychosocial assessment, counselling, case management, and transition planning. The program supports patients and families through coordinated social work services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide social work services to patients and families
- Complete psychosocial assessments and risk screening
- Deliver individual, group, and family treatment
- Coordinate case management and discharge planning
- Support prevention, promotion, and public awareness activities

Requirements:

- Complete a bachelor’s degree in Social Work
- Hold active or eligible ACSW registration
- Connect Care experience is an asset
- Inpatient psychiatry experience is an asset
- Addictions and mental health experience is an asset
