Position: PM Shift Manager

Reports To: Store Manager

We are looking for a motivated and responsible Shift Manager to lead restaurant operations, support Supervisor and Team Members, and ensure a smooth, productive, and positive PM shift.

Key Responsibilities

1. PM Shift Operations & Leadership

- Lead and oversee PM shift operations to ensure smooth workflow and excellent guest service.
- Guide, support, and hold Supervisors and Team Members accountable.
- Monitor Speed of Service (SoS), product quality, and overall restaurant performance.
- Ensure proper shift handover and preparation for the next operating day.

2. Equipment Cleaning & Maintenance

- Guide Supervisors on proper equipment cleaning, calibration, and routine maintenance.
- Ensure equipment, including coffee brewers, dairy systems, and sugar dispensers, is properly cleaned and calibrated.
- Identify equipment issues and coordinate timely repairs.

3. Store Cleaning & Closing Standards

- Oversee daily cleaning and deep-cleaning tasks across all restaurant areas.
- Ensure kitchen, dining room, washrooms, drive-thru, and back-of-house areas meet cleanliness standards.
- Verify completion of cleaning checklists and closing procedures.

4. Food Safety & Inventory Control





- Ensure food safety, sanitation, labelling, and temperature standards are followed.
- Monitor inventory, product rotation, food preparation, and waste control.
- Ensure all required operational logs and checklists are completed accurately.

Key Expectations

- Take ownership of overall PM shift performance.
- Lead by example and actively develop Supervisors.
- Ensure operational, cleaning, and maintenance tasks are completed and verified.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully prepared restaurant for the next day.

Job Requirements

- Previous restaurant or quick-service restaurant experience; Tim Hortons experience is an asset.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of food safety, equipment cleaning, and restaurant operations.
- Ability to coach team members, manage priorities, and work evening shifts.
- Reliable, hands-on, and accountable with strong attention to detail.

Pay: $18.80-$19.50 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
