This R&D; Manager leads a Toronto-based team of Food Scientists and directs multiple development projects. The position supports innovation, existing product optimization, manufacturing efficiency, and customer success.

Responsibilities span project reporting, technical collaboration, food safety, regulatory compliance, and strategic initiatives with other Solina locations.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and prioritize development projects and commercial timelines

Maintain project documentation, tracking, reporting, and performance monitoring

Establish objectives and provide performance feedback

Support HACCP programs and food safety initiatives





Coordinate Toronto R&D; contributions to corporate initiatives

Requirements

Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or related science

Seven years’ food manufacturing Research & Development experience

Experience leading concept-to-commercialization development projects

Three years’ experience leading and developing technical teams

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting systems

Use analytical leadership and food manufacturing knowledge to manage Solina’s Toronto product development portfolio.
