Lead evidence-based nursing education and clinical practice at Southlake Health in Newmarket, Ontario, supporting staff orientation and competency development.

This temporary full-time Nurse Educator contract lasts six months. The role provides clinical expertise, leadership, and education while advancing professional nursing practice. You will collaborate with interprofessional teams on clinical pathways, protocols, research, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and evaluate staff education programs
- Assess competency-based skills of interdisciplinary team members
- Lead clinical pathways and patient care guidelines
- Integrate evidence-based research into clinical practice
- Support patient teaching and clinical care assignments

Requirements:

- Three to five years recent relevant clinical resource nursing experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and CNO registration
- Certificate in Adult Education or adult training experience
- Current ACLS and BCLS certifications
- Robust facilitation, presentation, coaching, and critical thinking skills
