As a Claims Advisor, you will adjudicate Residential and Auto claims following fires, hail, tornadoes, and heavy rains. You will provide advice and support while managing claims from opening through settlement. The work includes negotiation, inspection review, customer communication, and collaboration with internal partners and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Investigate, negotiate, and settle Residential and Auto catastrophe claims
- Open claims, arrange appraisals, assign contractors, and finalize settlements
- Review inspection reports and estimates against loss-related damage




- Update customers about claim status, repairs, and causes of loss
- Collaborate with partners and vendors to resolve customer problems

Requirements:

- Two or more years of claims adjusting experience preferred
- Computer literacy; Xactimate and Xactanalys knowledge considered an asset
- Excellent communication and empathetic customer service skills
- Proven negotiation, investigation, organization, and time management abilities
- Provincial claims licensing may be required
