Operate waste management systems at Agnico Eagle’s Hope Bay Project using secure collection, segregation, and disposal practices. Work in English on a 21-day schedule.

Reporting to the Energy and Infrastructure Supervisor, this operator supports department goals while respecting Agnico Eagle’s Health & Safety Code of Conduct and environmental expectations. Duties include waste transport, incinerator operation, waste classification, records, and emergency response. The position also includes trainee coaching and hands-on guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect and transport waste from designated areas safely
- Segregate materials according to environmental and safety standards
- Operate incinerators and waste oil burning systems
- Prepare backhaul materials for return and disposal
- Maintain waste collection and disposal records

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of waste management, TDG, and environmental regulations
- Experience operating incinerators and waste oil burners
- Basic Microsoft Excel skills
- Valid Driver’s License
