As Senior Specialist, Financial Risk Oversight, you will oversee CMHC capital markets and investment activities independently. Apply financial statement analysis, data analysis, and external setting scanning to assess exposure. Translate complex findings into recommendations for senior management. Support risk-based decisions across investments, market risk, liquidity risk, capital adequacy, asset-liability management, and counterparty credit risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct independent oversight of financial risk management controls
- Identify, assess, measure, monitor, and report financial risks
- Develop presentations, memos, and actionable risk reports
- Provide guidance on risk frameworks and policies
- Assess regulatory guidance and industry-leading practices
Requirements:
- Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business
- At least five years of relevant risk experience
- Expertise in capital markets, investments, and financial instruments
- Superior communication and presentation skills
- Bloomberg experience
