Lead feature animation effects at WildBrain in Vancouver or remotely across British Columbia, using Houdini, Nuke, and creative technical leadership.

As an FX Supervisor, CG (Feature), you will define, guide, and deliver project effects work under the Producer. You will align the FX department with the Director’s vision while meeting production constraints. The position requires advanced Houdini and Nuke proficiency, broad effects expertise, and proven leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define visual direction with production and art leadership
- Review FX work through dailies and weekly reviews
- Guide FX artists through mentorship and feedback
- Collaborate with Pipeline to improve FX workflows
- Maintain documentation, training, and production deadlines

Requirements:

- Two-plus years of FX leadership in feature production
- Advanced proficiency in Houdini and Nuke
- Experience creating natural and highly stylized effects
- Expert understanding of production workflows across departments
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and adaptability skills
