Lead transmission structure and foundation design for CIMA+ while preparing sealed deliverables and supporting Canadian projects through hybrid work.

As a Professional Engineer on the Transmission Lines team, you will design wood, steel, and lattice structures for overhead facilities. Your work will cover design analysis, foundations, documentation, estimates, test plans, and project task management. You will also provide technical assistance, construction support, and field reviews as required.

Key Responsibilities

Design transmission poles, lattice structures, and foundations

Prepare signed and sealed engineering deliverables

Produce reports, specifications, proposals, estimates, and test plans

Manage design scope, schedule, and cost





Support construction activities and conduct field reviews

Requirements

Skilled Engineering association registration in Canada

Five or more years of transmission experience

Degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering

Proficiency with design analysis software and CAD systems

Integrity, team spirit, and commitment to excellence

Use structural engineering expertise, sealed deliverables, and transmission project management skills to contribute to CIMA+’s Canadian infrastructure portfolio.
