Lead commercial Property and Casualty underwriting operations for Acera Insurance, combining operational strategy, governance, and regulatory compliance. This is a hybrid role in Burnaby or Vancouver.

As Underwriting Operations Lead, you will guide the scalability and performance of Acera Insurance’s in-house underwriting platform. You will oversee service delivery, workflow management, quality assurance, and technical DUA management. The role also supports profitable growth through technology adoption, process automation, and operational reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Lead underwriting operations strategy and continuous improvement initiatives

Oversee service delivery, workflows, quality assurance, and performance

Manage technical DUA operations, guidelines, controls, and updates

Develop metrics, dashboards,



and reporting for service standards

Partner across underwriting, business development, insurers, and corporate functions

Requirements

Ten or more years underwriting commercial Property and Casualty insurance

Solid leadership experience across multiple insurance lines

Ability to analyze complex information and develop underwriting strategies

Knowledge of regulated environments, P&C; policy wordings, and claims implications

Insurance designations such as CIP or FCIP considered assets

Bring underwriting leadership, governance, analytical judgment, and compliance expertise to Acera Insurance’s commercial P&C; operations.
