Advance secure, scalable technology services as Senior Director for the University of Waterloo Faculty of Engineering in Waterloo, Ontario. You will lead a diverse IT portfolio spanning infrastructure, applications, audiovisual and classroom technologies, research computing, and client services. The position connects operational excellence with the Faculty’s academic, research, and administrative objectives.

It also serves as Engineering’s senior IT liaison with the Chief Information Officer and IST.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Engineering IT organizational design and workforce planning
- Coordinate distributed and centralized technology functions
- Ensure compliance with policies, cybersecurity, privacy, and accessibility requirements
- Oversee operating and capital budgets and purchasing




- Mentor leaders and staff through continuous improvement initiatives Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline
- Progressive leadership across information systems and enterprise technologies
- Experience delivering IT services in academic settings
- Ability to coordinate complex projects and cross-functional teams
