Teach practical nursing theory, laboratory, and clinical subjects at Portage College’s Lac La Biche Campus as an experienced RN or LPN. Bring current registration and nursing expertise to student instruction.

This full time term appointment continues until December 1, 2027. The Instructor, Practical Nurse delivers program subjects, supports curriculum development, creates evaluations, and monitors student progress. Familiarity with practical nurse programs and LPN responsibilities is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and deliver theory, laboratory, and clinical instruction
- Develop or revise practical nurse curriculum
- Create exams, quizzes, and evaluation materials
- Manage and evaluate student progress

Requirements:

- Current unrestricted CARNA or CLPNA registration
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- RN diploma or LPN diploma or certificate considered
- Current CPR Heart and Stroke BLS for Healthcare Provider
- Two years recent acute care experience preferred
