About the Role

As Captain, you hold overall responsibility for the safe, efficient, and timely operation of the aircraft and for leading the First Officer in accordance with all regulations, customer requirements, and company standards. This role sits at the heart of Carson Air’s IFR Medevac operation, serving communities throughout British Columbia.

What You’ll Do

- Command IFR medevac flights with an unwavering safety focus and sound operational judgment.
- Lead, brief, and mentor the flight crew to maintain high performance and compliance.
- Execute efficient, timely missions while adapting to dynamic conditions and patient needs.
- Uphold all Transport Canada regulations and company SOPs across every phase of flight.

What You Bring

- Licensing: Transport Canada ATPL and valid Category 1 medical (or equivalent meeting TC standards).
- Record: No Transport Canada violations or suspensions.
- Experience (preferred):
- 3,000+ hrs total fixed-wing time, including 1,000 hrs as PIC.
- 1,000 hrs multi-engine, including 500 hrs as PIC.
- 100 hrs on type with 50 hrs as PIC.
- 500 hrs mountain flying.

- Assets: BE30 type rating and an aviation diploma.
- Clearances & Skills:



Ability to obtain TSA clearance and approval for simulator training in the United States; proficient computer skills and Internet familiarity; fluent or highly proficient in English.
- Training Bond: Successful applicants must sign a Training Bond Agreement unless holding a current BE30 type rating.

Locations & Schedule

Positions are available across Carson Air’s British Columbia bases in Kelowna, Fort St. John, Vancouver, and Prince George, operating on a consistent 4 days ON / 4 days OFF rotation.
