Lead regulatory approvals for major projects with EVR, applying environmental assessment expertise across the Elk Valley or Calgary. Manage complex permitting challenges independently.

Reporting to the Senior Specialist, Regulatory Approvals, you will direct the Social, Environmental, and Regulatory Approvals component of major projects. The work spans strategic permitting plans, environmental assessments, permit applications, regulatory review, and engagement processes. You will collaborate with engineering teams, mine operations, government officials, Indigenous groups, and communities of interest.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop regulatory strategies, assessments, applications, reviews, and engagement processes
- Lead multidisciplinary consultants and collaborate closely with engineering teams
- Manage SERA budgets, schedules,



and project scope
- Integrate SERA aspects across operations and project teams
- Identify risks and recommend strategic process changes

Requirements:

- Environmental Science or Engineering degree in a related field
- At least eight years leading natural resource regulatory approvals
- Mining experience and British Columbia regulatory knowledge preferred
- Ability to lead consultants, direct reports, and partners
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
