Reporting to the Fleet Manager, the mechanic maintains vehicles, trailers, trucks, and equipment across Markstone Landscaping’s year-round operations. The work supports construction and snow seasons through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and accurate documentation. Candidates bring certification or equivalent hands-on mechanical experience, preferably in landscaping, construction, or heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and repair heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, and fleet assets
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and complete mechanical repairs
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce downtime




- Prepare fleet for snow operations and peak construction periods
- Complete work orders and maintenance records using eMaint

Requirements:

- Certified mechanic or equivalent hands-on mechanical experience
- Experience maintaining and repairing trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow safety and regulatory requirements
