Lead BigQuery and dbt data engineering remotely from the Pacific Northwest, building reliable infrastructure for Beatport’s analytics and reporting.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will own finance and data warehousing solutions across The Beatport Group. The work spans production pipelines, cloud warehouses, data models, and integrations. You will translate technical and non-technical requests into maintainable solutions while supporting data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own GCP production pipelines from orchestration through reporting
- Build scalable dbt and BigQuery SQL data models
- Design RDBMS, warehouses, repositories, and pipelines
- Maintain partner API, SFTP, and GCS integrations
- Resolve load failures and connectivity issues

Requirements:

- Five-plus years of direct data engineering experience
- Expert SQL proficiency, including MySQL or Postgres dialects
- Proficiency with dbt and Python scripting
- Experience owning ETL or ELT pipelines end to end
- Robust communication and data integrity practices
