As an Intermediate Application Engineer, you will support Automation and Control System Solutions for varied customer scenarios. Your work combines RFQ interpretation, controls architecture, commercial judgment, and customer communication. You will also contribute to proposals, renewals, upgrades, and lifecycle support while using Emerson and Lakeside tools.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide technical support, solution design, and customer quotations
- Translate RFQs into fit-for-purpose automation solutions
- Review P&IDs;, instrumentation specifications, panels, and wiring inputs




- Prepare qualified multi-line proposals aligned with commercial standards
- Support renewals, upgrades, and support agreement options

Requirements:

- Engineering degree or engineering technologist diploma
- Four or more years in Application Engineering
- Customer exposure across varied application scenarios
- Technical knowledge in at least one Emerson Business Unit
- Analytical thinking, decisiveness, communication, and commercial judgment
