About the Job: We are seeking an SeniorReleaseTrain Engineer (RTE) with a strong background in Scrum Mastery, ReleaseManagement, and DevOps enablement to support a fast-paced retail deliveryenvironment. This role will act as the central delivery and releaseorchestrator, ensuring seamless coordination across Agile teams, QA,DevOps, and business stakeholders.

The RTE will drive complex releases by enablingautomation, improving flow through CI/CD pipelines, and enforcing releasegovernance—while providing transparency to leadership on delivery health,risks, and release readiness.

Position Responsibilities:

- Serve as SeniorRelease Train Engineer, drivingalignment, flow, and execution across multiple Agile teams
- Taking ownership of managing complex releases across all teams
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including PIplanning, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach teams on Agile, DevOps, and continuousdelivery best practices to improve predictability and throughput.
- Act as Scrum Master for a QA-focused team, including performance, regression, and web QA engineers.




- Own end-to-end release management from multiple recurring and ad-hoc releases.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute weeklyproduction releases with minimal business disruption.
- Partner with DevOps and platform teams to align release schedules with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Enable release readiness through automatedtesting, reliable environments, and deployment pipelines.
- Coordinate consolidated releases across multiple teams and value streams.
- Identify delivery and pipeline bottlenecks and drive improvements to lead time, deployment frequency, and release successrates.
- Ensure compliance with release governance,quality standards, and change management controls.

Requirements

- 10+ years of overall experience and 7+years as an RTE
- Strong hands-on experience in ReleaseManagement across multiple teams and projects.
- Demonstrated exposure to DevOps practices,CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.
- Experience working closely with QA teams, including performance and regression testing.
- Solid understanding of dependency management,risk mitigation, and release governance.
- Strong communication, facilitation, andleadership-level stakeholder management skills.




- Ability to operate effectively in a high-frequency,high-velocity release environment.
- Experience in the retail or e-commerce domain.
- Workingknowledge of DevOps tools and platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab, Azure DevOps,AWS, Kubernetes, or similar).
- HavingSAFe, Scrum Master. RTE certifications

Salary Range: $90,000 to $100,000 CAD/ year
