This Manager role supports MNP’s Assurance & Accounting team and its diverse client portfolio. You will provide tailored financial information while overseeing compliance tax engagements, internal controls, budgeting, and accounting transactions. The position combines technical assurance work, people leadership, and practice development responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead client-facing engagement teams through accounting and tax work
- Review financial files for accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Manage client portfolios, relationships, risks, and account growth
- Plan engagements, schedules, budgets, billing,
collections, and variances
- Mentor team members through feedback and performance reviews
Requirements:
- Six years of relevant accounting experience
- Working toward a CPA designation is an asset
- Solid business, accounting, management, and practice development understanding
- Proven people management, leadership, and relationship-building skills
- Experience with accounting and tax software
