Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Kelowna General Hospital centers on inpatient and outpatient youth mental health care. Work within a multidisciplinary team serving patients through age 18.

This psychiatrist position provides assessment and treatment for children and adolescents in hospital and community settings. You will support psychiatric admissions, collaborate with clinicians and managers, and participate in general on-call coverage. Experience or interest in DDMH is welcomed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess and treat psychiatric patients up to age 18
- Provide inpatient and outpatient child and youth services
- Assume care for assigned new psychiatric admissions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinicians, managers, families, and services
- Participate in general on-call scheduling

Requirements:

- Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist qualification
- Experience or interest in DDMH welcomed
- Participation in multidisciplinary assessment processes
- Active staff privileges at RIH
- Experienced candidates and recent graduates considered
