Lead rail project execution and business development for Cando, using technical planning, stakeholder communication, and operational startup expertise. Travel is required across Canada and the United States.

This Project Manager supports recent and existing operations throughout Cando’s specialized rail services network. The position covers proposals, design, construction, troubleshooting, project organization, and operational transition. Success requires project management principles, financial understanding, leadership, and strong safety awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute strategies for new and existing operations
- Provide technical input for proposals, costing, schedules, and drawings
- Coordinate project planning, design, execution, and closeout
- Manage scope, timelines, budgets,



quality, and stakeholder satisfaction
- Support operational handover through work systems and training

Requirements:

- Experience executing projects in industrial or rail environments
- Experience interpreting budgets and bid or tender documents
- Background establishing new business and building teams
- Proficiency with Office 365, MS Projects, and MS Visio
- Ability to travel throughout Canada and the United States
