Compensation: $62,000 - $72,000 annually, depending on skills and experience

Shift: Monday to Friday 8-hour workdays, occasional half-day Saturdays

What’s a typical day as Field Research Associate? You’ll be:

- Contributing to the planning and implementation of field research programs, ensuring local needs are addressed.
- Collaborating with team members to conduct fieldwork, including land preparation, seeding, fertilizing, spraying, harvesting, and transporting equipment to off-site locations.
- Executing field research according to established protocols, collecting data, and providing input for project summaries.
- Managing daily operations of the field research station and supporting off-site trials across Southern Ontario.
- Upholding and promoting a strong safety culture in all activities.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

- Have a minimum Diploma in Agriculture or a related biological science (M.Sc. preferred).
- Hold, or are willing to obtain,



a Class A restricted driver's license and can operate field equipment.
- Possess agricultural or crop-related experience and are comfortable working outdoors.
- Demonstrate knowledge or understanding of field research, agronomic practices, and safe pesticide use.
- Have strong planning, coordination, and technical skills related to field research.
- Are willing to travel to satellite research sites and haul equipment as needed.
- Are familiar with ARM software and have mechanical aptitude (preferred, but not required).
- Are eager to learn, follow procedures, and successfully complete a motor vehicle test.
