Must be able to perform all assistant duties, including, but not limited to: animal restraint, assisting with radiographs and surgical preparation, running and setting up bloodwork, preparing prescriptions, instrument sterilization and various ongoing cleaning tasks. Some reception duties may be required, as needed, such as: answering phones, booking appointments, invoicing, admitting and discharging patients, selling product, and client education.

Qualifications & Experience:

Experience with animals (even pets) is required. Previous experience in a Veterinary clinic is preferred but willing to train the right individual. Applicant must be mature, personable, able to work as a part of a team, hard working, detail-oriented and able to multi-task. The ability to deal with the public calmly in stressful situations and be a dependable team player is of the utmost importance.

Job Types: Permanent, Part time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
