The Intermediate Accountant supports multiple operating entities within CTR Refrigeration and the Arcticom Group network. Reporting to the Regional Controller in Burnaby, this position handles general ledger accounting, WIP accounting, and financial reporting. The role also partners with operational teams to investigate variances and resolve discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare month-end journal entries, accruals, and prepaids
- Complete bank, intercompany, and account reconciliations
- File GST and provincial sales tax returns
- Analyze WIP, job costing, and percentage-of-completion schedules




- Support assigned entities, audits, and financial reporting

Requirements:

- Accounting, Finance, or related diploma or degree
- At least three years of progressive accounting experience
- Understanding of general ledger and month-end close
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and attention to detail
- Occasional travel to the Burnaby office may be required
