As a Junior Commercial Lines Automobile Underwriter, you will support small business commercial auto accounts. The role develops technical underwriting expertise, broker relationships, and customer service excellence. You will assess risks, analyze underwriting information, and support profitable renewals within assigned authority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate recent and renewal commercial automobile fleet risks
- Apply corporate underwriting standards, guidelines, and procedures
- Analyze exposure, pricing, and policy terms
- Respond professionally to broker inquiries and policy changes
- Support renewals, quoting, and workflow prioritization
Requirements:
- Three or more years in commercial automobile fleet insurance
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational, administrative, and prioritization capabilities
- CIP designation completed or in progress preferred
