Reporting to the Manager, Asset Management BC, this Civil Engineer supports a multidisciplinary engineering team. You will manage selected civil and dam safety projects while administering British Columbia’s Dam Safety Program. The work covers inspections, maintenance, repairs, permitting, and regulatory follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage British Columbia’s dam safety program and regulatory compliance
- Lead civil and dam safety projects through closeout
- Review inspections and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and recommendations
- Manage budgets, forecasts, risks, scope, and change control
- Oversee consultants,



contracts, tendering, quality assurance, and finalization

Requirements:

- Membership in a Canadian civil engineering association
- Practical dam safety and regulatory requirements experience
- Industrial or hydroelectric project management experience
- Technical understanding of dams, hydraulic structures, and power generation
- Solid analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
