Teach dental hygiene at NAIT’s Main Campus in a full time hybrid Instructor position requiring communication and curriculum design skills. This temporary appointment ends by June 30, 2027.

As a Dental Hygiene Instructor, you will support adult learners in classroom and laboratory settings. The work combines instructional delivery, assessment, student support, and curriculum development. You will help maintain academic progress while contributing to program operations, reviews, and industry connections.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and present learning outcomes and classroom activities
- Organize and supervise practical dental hygiene assignments
- Evaluate learning and provide meaningful student feedback




- Respond to student issues and support academic achievement
- Participate in curriculum, course, and program reviews

Requirements:

- Dental Hygiene Practitioner or Registered Dental Hygienist
- Current Alberta College of Dental Hygienists membership
- Bachelor’s degree related to dental hygiene education
- Five years of recent dental hygiene experience
- Adult education and curriculum design experience
