As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will apply SRE expertise across HMH’s technology infrastructure. You will identify systematic issues, develop solutions with SRE and DevOps colleagues, and work with Agile teams. The workplace includes microservices, Spring, Java, NodeJS, React, Koa, and Express.js.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify infrastructure issues affecting reliability and performance
- Develop proof of concepts with SRE and DevOps teams
- Engineer solutions across technology teams
- Design automated pipelines and extend Kubernetes capabilities
- Manage AWS infrastructure and troubleshoot performance issues

Requirements:

- Significant hands-on SRE or DevOps experience
- Substantial production AWS experience
- Experience with infrastructure as code and containers
- Expertise with RDBMS, Linux, and messaging queues
- Experience with CI/CD, scripting, monitoring, and security
