The Chiropodist performs assessments, diagnoses conditions, and develops treatment plans for foot and lower limb needs. Working with Pedorthists, this clinician supports orthotic solutions, footwear, minor procedures, preventative care, and accurate documentation. The role contributes to BioPed’s total patient care experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct clinical assessments of foot and lower limb conditions
- Diagnose conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
- Consult with patients and explain preventative foot care
- Prescribe and oversee orthotic and footwear solutions




- Maintain clinical documentation and participate in case discussions

Requirements:

- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine or equivalent qualification
- Eligibility for Ontario podiatry licensure or registration
- Clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
- Experience collaborating with Pedorthists or allied health professionals
- Strong communication, education, charting, and patient-record skills
