Lead financial reporting and accounting operations for CMB Capital Ventures Inc. in Deer Lake, Newfoundland and Labrador. Strengthen controls across multiple companies.

The Financial Controller oversees the CMB Group of Companies’ financial management. This leadership role covers accounting operations, reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and compliance. It also supports informed decisions across a diverse portfolio including BlackStar Solutions Inc., Backcountry Supplies, and Tow Rapid.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee accounting operations across multiple companies
- Lead AP, AR, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and general ledger management
- Manage month-end and year-end closes and financial statements
- Prepare remittances, budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis




- Strengthen controls and support strategic business initiatives

Requirements:

- CPA designation or progress toward it
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field
- Five or more years of progressive Controller experience
- Experience overseeing accounting operations and leading teams
- Knowledge of reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and internal controls
