Shape electrified rail readiness at Metrolinx through operational planning, safety review, and collaboration across GO Operations and project teams. Support transformational change across the Greater Golden Horseshoe.

As Lead, Operational Electrification, you will liaise between Electrification delivery, Network Operations Planning, and Metrolinx GO Operations. You will assess operational impacts, reflect requirements in proposals, and support change management. The work draws on engineering, project management, codes and standards, and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review Electrification designs for safety and railway operational impacts
- Identify Operational and Maintenance requirements within proposed designs
- Develop networks supporting system readiness before electrified operations




- Collaborate on policies, plans, and procedures for electrified rail
- Support and oversee staff and project teams

Requirements:

- Engineering degree or diploma relevant to the practice area
- Demonstrated experience in the relevant area of practice
- Understanding of project management principles for concurrent activities
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards
- Presentation, active listening, initiative, and teamwork abilities
