We at Raise are hiring a PeopleSoft Functional Configuration Advisor for one of our top clients. After establishing themselves as an industry leader, they’re now expanding their team to meet rising demand.
Responsibilities
- Provide functional advisory services across PeopleSoft HCM modules.
- Assess existing business processes and recommend configuration improvements.
- Evaluate delivered PeopleSoft functionality as an alternative to custom development.
- Support configuration activities across HR, Benefits, Position Management and Payroll.
- Analyze business requirements and map them to standard PeopleSoft capabilities.
- Review existing customizations and identify opportunities for simplification.
- Prepare functional documentation, process maps and configuration recommendations.
- Advise on testing strategies, regression testing and business process validation.
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and recommend solutions.
- Support continuous improvement and application maintenance initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of PeopleSoft HCM functional consulting experience.
- Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM modules and business processes.
- Experience with functional configuration and application maintenance.
- Robust business process analysis and requirements gathering skills.
- Experience assessing standard PeopleSoft functionality against custom solutions.
- Experience with functional testing, UAT and regression testing.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Canadian public-sector HRMS experience.
- Experience supporting collective agreements and unionized workforce environments.
- Experience with Benefits and Position Management.
- Experience rationalizing legacy customizations.
- Experience supporting provincial or territorial government HR environments.
