About the Company

Our client is a mid-sized accounting firm. They are looking for a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for managing a portfolio of owner-managed clients, preparing and reviewing Notice to Reader engagements, compilations, corporate and personal tax returns, and supporting assurance engagements as required. The workload is approximately 20% Assurance and 80% NTR/Compilation and tax-related work.

About the Opportunity

- Prepare and review Notice to Reader, Compilation, Review Engagement, and Audit files for a diverse portfolio of clients
- Prepare complex corporate, partnership, trust, and personal tax returns
- Assist managers and partners with assurance engagements from planning through completion
- Analyze financial information and provide recommendations to clientsLiaise directly with clients regarding accounting, tax, and operational matters
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members
- Support special projects, business advisory,



and consulting engagements
- Ensure engagements are completed efficiently and in accordance with professional standards

About You

- CPA designation required
- 2-3+ years of experience within a Canadian public accounting firm
- Strong knowledge of ASPE, Canadian tax, and assurance standards
- Experience preparing and reviewing owner-managed business files
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
- Experience mentoring and training junior team members

Salary Range

$90,000 - $100,000/year
